When a disease whose symptoms include immortality breaks out in Johannesburg, misanthropic Aster Good sees this as a chance to escape from humanity. Unfortunately Aster is a) in the UK and b) struggling to deal with her trio of crushes on an insect woman, her existentially troubled childhood friend, and shy computer scientist with a penchant for revenge.
